RAVEN; Quiet yet deadly. (The NEW Teen Titans)
I wanted to pay homage to the New Teen Titans of the 80s (George Perez's and Marv Wolfman's version) and recreate each character individually. Raven was always the shy secretive yet mysterious female of the Titan trinity. At the time I believed that she could not even kill a fly because she always felt another's pain. That was until she was pushed to her limits she almost wipped out the entire human race see TNTT # 1-5 (1984).
I wanted to start this tribute with the most powerful Titan of them all. The others will eventually be added to the series.
Also this is my first Photoshop Piece. At first I attempted to draw the piece in illustrator but I did not like the way that it was going so I decided to bite the bullet and dive into the world of Photoshop.

u really captured the mysterious factor! i love this piece, its somhow different from all the others ive seen. (and im glad we agree she's the most powerful member)
